Digital Scrapbook Embellishments

When I create a scrapbook page I tend not to use a lot of scrapbook embellishments as I am not much of a ribbons and bows kind a gal.

I prefer making objects to include on scrapbooking pages, for example the pencil in the Groobers Gallery card.

It is made from a series of shapes joined together adding color and a shadow to give the illusion of a pencil.

Add part of a word and text and it looks like the pencil is writing!

Photograph of my daughter doing a back dive into the swimming pool.

This photo is the perfect candidate for an out of bounds effect, using photo editing to produce the effect of a giant leap out of the photograph and onto the page.

The next step would be to create a sheet of digital scrapbooking paper perhaps with a fish design or the illusion of water droplets on blue stripy paper.

Add another couple of pool related photographs perhaps make a lifeguard red and white ring embellishment and some bubble text and another scrapbook page is born.

The photo is now ready to use in a Scrapbook Page or perhaps it could be used as a repeat pattern to create a piece of Digital Scrapbook paper.
