Digital Scrapbook Paper – Diamond Plating Effect
Happy New Year!
Yep 2010 is over so hello and welcome to 2011.
I have decided to try and master Adobe Illustrator this year for creating digital papers for my scrapbook projects. The digital paper above is made to look like diamond plating (allegedly.)
If you want to create your own you can follow along with the illustrator/photoshop tutorial by clicking the link here. I also used a 12×12 two photo template from A Little Photoshop Actions (my big red easy button secret.)
Now, when I’m thinking of a page I usually have a song or a classic one liner that I’m remembering or listening to as I work. For today’s page it was Piece of Me from the Blackout – Britney Spears album.
Another 2011 project of mine is to try once and for all to get fit, as let’s just say that when “weighed in…weighed in” was undertaken on Monday morning the scales were being just plain nasty.
I find Piece of Me a great song to march along with when I’m doing my morning walk using my iTreadmill:Pedometer Ultra w/ PocketStep™ – Ricky Amano to keep me on track.
Cheers,
Groobers
