This weeks Before Photo I wanted to show how a photograph can be changed into a pencil drawing effect, which can then be used in many ways, I for example used it as a scrapbooking paper but could also be used as writing paper or for a print for the wall.

This weeks Before and After Photo of my daughter as a bridesmaid at her aunt's wedding was so dark, but when lightened did not improve much, I nearly deleted the photograph, but decided to try a vignetting effect on it.  Have a look at the end result on Before and After Photo 16.
Thanks Groobers.

This digital scrapbook page was inspired by a Britany Spears song "Piece of Me".

Teachers, Parents everyone seems to want a piece of a teenagers life or so it seems to them.

I wanted to include a photo today in the Before and After Gallery to show how just doing a very few changes using Adobe Photoshop Elements, can make a photograph stand out.  Check it out on Before and After photo 15.
Thanks Groobers

This weeks photograph that was emailed to me is just beautiful as it is, I love this moody look!  I have removed some distracting elements and changed the colour and sharpened and added a boarder.  Not a lot of work to be done but I hope you think I increased the beauty of the original photograph.  Take a look and let me know what you think, leave a comment , just click on the blue comments above this post, if you have the time.
You will find this Before and After 14, on the Before and After Page.  Also I have added a new photo to the Just a Note Page, so check it out if you get  chance.
Thanks Groobers

Photo Art Cards 06/16/2008

Today I have been working on some more Photo Art Cards which I have put onto the Photo Art Cards page .  Hope you like them, tomorrow I will try to post this weeks Before and After Photo, so check back often, leave a comment, sign the guestbook  or send in a photo.

I was asked on the blog how I create these effects, I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, I recommend it to anyone who would like to improve the quality of the photographs they take and to create some interesting effects, it is not as expensive as the original Photoshop and is easier to learn, have a go but be warned its addictive, I have included a link below.
Thanks Groobers

I could not resist doing another version of the After Photo 11 of the first prom post, I did not think the first version really captured the beautiful subject and dress, so I had another go converting to black and white and adding a splash of colour.  Let me know what you think. Groobers

2nd Prom Photo 06/11/2008

Before

This is the 2nd of the prom photos, not a lot needed in this one, just wanted to focus in more on both subjects, color correct a little, blend in the background and sharpen the overall photo.

1st Prom Photo 06/09/2008

Hope everyone had a great week-end and are enjoying this fantastic weather, I have not got a lot done with the photos yet as the pool is just too tempting in this heat.  That said I did manage to get one Before and After photo 11 finished so check it out on the Before and After Page and let me know what you think. The Before is shown here on the blog, I was trying to get a photo focusing on the subject and showing the beautiful dress, so sorry my lovely nephew you had to be cut but I will do one of the two of you as well later. Hope you like the finished result.
